Take the one from the right

As this is the inaugural entry to this blog, some background might be in order.
I'm a man, 30 years of age from Stockholm, Sweden. As a boy, I used to only eat the potatoes and leave the meat in the lunches my mother made me for daycare. I went to school, which is hardly distinguishing since everybody does that, so I wont speak of it further. I hate spiders to the point where I once threatened a girlfriend with never touching her again if she petted one they had at the zoo.

Currently, I've made camp at White Plains, NY in a fairly decent Human Storage Facility ®. I'm doing some consulting work for a "large US hospitality company". Of this, I could speak at length but I think I will save that for some other time.

This blog will be updated in eaither English or Swedish or not at all, depending on my mood. My humor, wit and intelligence sometimes doesn't come out right in one language or the other. If, at any time, you find me sounding stupid or not funny, that'll surely be why.

Enough of mindless trivia, let's move on to the mindless events of today. I'll make this as brief as I can, as I'm trying to get to the actual main event. So, in short order
8:15 AM - Woke up
8:30 AM - Had coffee, watched TV
10 AM - Logged on, surfed newspapers
11 AM - Had a shower
12:15 PM - Went to lunch (Turkey club sandwhich)
2 PM - Played WoW (Karazhan raid). We killed Nightbane, first time.
5 PM - Spoke with mother on the phone
6PM - Ordered dinner (Chinese), spring roll and chicken Lo Mein

This all leads nicely up to the defining moment of the day, nay, the year. After eating about half of the rediculously oversized portion, I opened up my fortune cookie to find this:

This must be the single, best fortune cookie advice I have ever received. Tangible advice, easy to understand and relevant in any situation. Rarely have I seen such profound wisdom so clearly expressed. I tickles my imagination to think about what this Moment that will come may turn out to be, but I'll be sure to take the one from the right when it does happen. Plus, the backside told me the chinese word for "girlfriend". Like I said, best fortune cookie ever! Anyway, it inspired me to start this blog, and the name was obvious.

Now, I'm gonna watch some Law & Order and prepare for work tomorrow. Until next time kids, take the one from the right.
